Located at 3855 Lindell Blvd in St. Louis, Missouri, Ember and Ash Coffee Company was founded in 2026 by Mikayla Smith and her husband with a vision that extends beyond great coffee.

As an Employment Specialist who has spent years helping individuals with disabilities find meaningful, competitive employment, Mikayla recognized the barriers many people face when entering the workforce. Ember and Ash was created to help bridge that gap by providing opportunities for individuals with disabilities to gain valuable work experience, develop skills, and thrive in an inclusive environment.

Alongside her passion for workforce inclusion, Mikayla has spent a lifetime collecting art and supporting local artists throughout the St. Louis community. By bringing these passions together, Ember and Ash Coffee Company was born—a welcoming space where exceptional coffee, creativity, and community intersect.
